The weekend of April 9^th proved very significant for Kia Motor's. In the Street Tuner class of the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race in Birmingham, Alabama, Michael Galati and Nic J?nsson co-drove the No. 10 Infinity Audio Kia Forte Koup to the company's first motorsport win.

Back in the 1990's and early 2000's, Kia, like most Korean cars, looked very...Korean. While this certainly isn't a bad thing; it did make it difficult to sell vehicles worldwide. In recognizing this fact, Kia hired former Audi designer, Peter Schreyer to inject a more universal style into its lineup.

Schreyer says there is currently no "Koreaness" about the current Kia lineup. And he's right; at least as far as production models are concerned. The recent unveiling of the Naimo EV concept, however, shows off the automaker's true heritage.
